What it is & how it works

Structured Ayurvedic dietary (Ahara) and daily/seasonal lifestyle (Vihara) guidance, individualized to a patient's constitution (Prakriti) and current state of imbalance (Vikriti) — covering food choices and combinations, meal timing, daily routine (Dinacharya), and seasonal regimen (Ritucharya) as a foundation that Ayurveda treats as inseparable from any other therapy.

How it's done

Delivered as an initial constitutional-assessment consultation with an Ayurvedic physician, followed by a written, individualized diet and routine plan; reviewed and adjusted at follow-up visits, typically every few weeks, alongside whichever other treatment the patient is receiving.

Why Brain Bridge

Ahara/Vihara is the clearest example of our integrative model: it is combined into each patient's individualized plan as a supportive lifestyle layer, never offered in isolation and never substituted for the medically necessary neuromodulation, rehabilitative, or psychiatric care a condition requires.

Evidence & safety

A foundational, traditionally-grounded component of Ayurvedic practice with broad empirical support within that system; modern nutrition-science evidence for specific recommendations varies by claim, and dietary/lifestyle guidance is framed as supportive rather than curative.

Related questions

Evidence quality varies by claim: some individual studies suggest specific Ayurvedic dietary approaches perform comparably to standard care for certain conditions, but there are still relatively few large, well-controlled trials, and results are hard to generalize across different formulations and protocols.

No. It's offered as a supportive lifestyle layer alongside a patient's primary medical, neurological, or psychiatric care, never as a substitute for treatment that is clinically necessary.
