Autism spectrum support
Structured autism assessment and a coordinated therapy plan, built with the family involved at every step, not handed down after a single observation.
What it is
Autism spectrum condition affects how a person communicates, interacts, and experiences the world, and it looks different from one child (or adult) to the next. Some families arrive already fairly certain; others are just starting to ask questions after a teacher, pediatrician, or their own observation raised a concern. Both are a reasonable starting point for an assessment. Our autism clinic works with families based in Delhi and with those travelling to India for assessment and therapy access.
Common symptoms & concerns
- Delayed or atypical speech and language development
- Limited eye contact or difficulty reading social cues
- Strong preference for routine and distress at unexpected change
- Repetitive movements or intense, narrow interests
- Sensory sensitivity to sound, light, texture, or touch
- Difficulty with peer relationships appropriate to age
Assessment & care
Assessment approach
Assessment is structured and developmental: a detailed history from parents or caregivers, direct observation, and standardized tools where appropriate, coordinated across our specialists rather than a single clinician's impression. We explain what we're looking for at each step, not just the result at the end.
In-scope care
In-scope care includes autism assessment, individualized therapy planning, and coordinated referral to speech therapy, occupational therapy, and ABA therapy as clinically indicated. See our Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and ABA Therapy pages for what each of those involves specifically.
How we treat it
If you've reached us, you have probably already read about autism and tried to make sense of the options. This page is not another explainer. It is what we would actually do for your child, in the order we would do it.

Common early signs include delayed speech, limited eye contact, strong resistance to routine changes, and repetitive movements or interests. These signs vary widely between children, which is exactly why a structured assessment matters more than a checklist.
Not always; some therapies, like speech or occupational therapy, can begin based on presenting concerns while a fuller assessment is underway. This is discussed individually with your care team.
