Nutrient / hormone panels
Laboratory blood testing of micronutrient status and hormone levels, used to identify correctable biochemical contributors to cognitive, mood, or energy symptoms.
What it is & how it works
Laboratory blood testing of micronutrient status (e.g. vitamin B12, folate, vitamin D, iron studies) and hormone levels (thyroid, sex hormones, cortisol, among others), used to identify correctable biochemical contributors to a patient's cognitive, mood, energy, or physical symptoms.
How it's done
A standard venous blood draw, typically fasting depending on the panel, processed through an accredited laboratory with results generally available within a few days. Findings are reviewed with the patient and used to guide targeted supplementation, dietary correction, or referral for hormone optimization where clinically indicated.

Why Brain Bridge
Nutrient and hormone panels support our precision-diagnostics-first model of individualized care — correctable deficiencies are identified and addressed as part of a coordinated plan, and findings are always interpreted within realistic, honestly stated limits.
Evidence & safety
Standard, well-validated laboratory assays with an established evidence base for interpretation. Minimal risk beyond standard venepuncture; results reviewed by a qualified clinician before any intervention is recommended.
Related questions
It depends on which markers are included. Vitamin D, B12, folate, and standard thyroid markers generally don't require fasting, but a panel that also includes iron studies, glucose, or a lipid profile typically needs 8–12 hours of fasting beforehand — your clinician will confirm what applies to your specific panel.
Not automatically. An abnormal result is reviewed by a clinician alongside your symptoms and history, and may lead to targeted supplementation, dietary correction, or further testing — not every out-of-range value needs treatment, and some are simply monitored.
